We’re excited to announce the 6th edition of the Trash Investigation Series: Organic Matters! Join us for two full days, May 27 and 28, 2025, dedicated to creative exploration and hands-on fabrication using organic waste.

Today, approximately one third of all food produced worldwide is wasted. Food waste is not only a social or humanitarian issue: it is also an environmental one! Between 6% and 8% of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions could be reduced if we stopped wasting food.

In response to this pressing issue, we’ve invited professionals, educators, and research institutions to take part in an intensive two-day design challenge. The goal? To develop and build practical, innovative solutions using organic materials.

In parallel, you will be able to enjoy a small exhibition of our participants' work, but also Squeeze de Orange, BIOMA, and B'Zeos. Finally, we'll showcase the results of the BioLaMer project.

Organic Matters is part of the BioLaMer project, supported as an EIC Pathfinder project under the European Union’s Horizon Europe framework.
