On May 27 and 28, 2025, we organized the 6th edition of the Trash Investigation Series: Organic Matters – two days dedicated to creation and fabrication using organic waste.

On this occasion, we had the privilege of using the space at Ca L'Alier, a former factory transformed into an innovation center.

​

We hosted a total of five teams: SlowLAB, Bagaceira, and Materia C, along with two collaborative teams made up of Maker Change and Woody on one side, and Fab Lab Barcelona, Bioma, and the Ensemble network on the other. At the end, a demonstration of all the creations was held for more than 200 visitors, who had the opportunity not only to see but also to interact with and play with the objects produced.

In parallel, visitors could explore a small exhibition featuring the work of our participants, as well as pieces from Squeeze de Orange, BIOMA, and B’Zeos. Finally, we presented the results of the BioLaMer project.
