We were invited by the interior department at Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Olot to give a lecture and a short workshop during the ESDAP Days (an annual event that promotes a different topic each year). This year the topic was sustainability.
We proposed a conceptual workshop, where students were divided in groups and each group was assigned one type of waste from the following: construction, industrial, transportation and manmade (packaging and household appliances). Each group had, within a limited time, to sketch as many designs for the interior possible using only the specific type of waste. The workshop ended with a presentation of all the ideas.
