The school wanted to open a new space in 2021, a creation and manufacturing workshop. For this reason they contacted TranfoLAB BCN, in order to, on the one hand, receive advice on how to equip and organize that space, and second, to organize a series of introductory activities. The advice included a list of basic hand tools, distinction by level and recommended age, as well as organization and distribution according to levels. In addtion we provided a list of materials and resources to be used during the activities, and gidelines for selection and systematization of materials in order to create a "Library of Reclaimed Materials".The educational sessions were divided into two parts: Guided visit (45 min) through the facilities of TransfoLAB with a brief introduction about the center and showing the students all the spaces and forms of work currently present; and Manufacturing workshop (90 min) at the school facilities.
