KINTSUGI
Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese technique of repairing broken pottery with gold. According to Zen Buddhism, cracks and breaks should not be hidden but celebrated with gold, as they are part of the object's history and represent an opportunity for growth.

In this introductory kintsugi course, after a brief introduction to the history and philosophy of this ancient art, you will restore a broken piece of pottery with a modern kintsugi technique. A simpler gold relief technique, repeating all the steps of traditional kintsugi but using modern materials that will allow us to complete our restorations in a few hours.
This course is for anyone interested in a first approach to kintsugi. No specific skills are required, just a little patience and concentration.
Materials are included in the price.
*Keep in mind that traditional kintsugi requires years of practice and the materials take at least 4 weeks to dry. Since we are going to use modern materials, the restored ceramics will not be food safe.
