Hi, I’m Tommy! I’ve been teaching English in Barcelona for the past 7 years, and I believe that learning a language should be fun, hands-on, and creative. Every child should discover the joy of building with their own hands—not just sitting in front of a screen. That’s why I’ve combined my passions for carpentry and teaching English into unique workshops where kids aged 7–12 learn real English in use while creating their own projects. What makes our workshops special? In our sessions, kids don’t just repeat vocabulary—they build it. Each project is an opportunity to learn essential DIY skills in English: from drilling, sanding, and gluing to painting, designing, and finishing wood. Along the way, they practise planning, storytelling, and creative writing, reinforcing language in a natural and exciting way. What we’ve been building so far: Blockbots: Custom wooden robots kids design, build, and paint themselves. They even create accessories—mini chairs, wooden pets, and props—using reclaimed materials like skateboards and guitars. Mini furniture: From stools to Enzo Mari–inspired chairs, children explore how real furniture is designed and assembled. Catapults and games: An introduction to screws, pilot holes, and playful challenges. Seasonal projects: Halloween decorations, Christmas crafts, and winter-themed builds keep the learning fresh and festive. Physical creations make English memorable: vocabulary sticks better when kids connect it to something they’ve made themselves. At the same time, each finished project boosts their confidence, independence, and creativity. Practical info 📍 Location: Barcelona 🕒 Weekly workshops (1.5 hours each): Tuesday – 5:00–6:30 PM Wednesday – 5:30–7:00 PM 💶 Price: Monthly fee 65 euros, matricula 40 euros (all tools and materials included). ✨ Give your teen the chance to build robots, furniture, and their confidence—all while learning English in a fun and practical way.
