Introduction to metalwork with reuse

During the course we will teach you how to use the different metalworking machines that we have at TransfoLAB BCN. At the beginning, we will talk about iron and what to take into account when working with recovered material. ​ We will proceed with the characteristics and use of the most common machines in metalworking: - metal cutter - grinder with cutting disc, grinding disc and thousand-blade disc - welder with electrode - welder with wire - different clamps ​ You will have the opportunity to work with each of them and learn how to manipulate different pieces of metal. The course is a good base to start your own project or to participate in one of our furniture manufacturing workshops. Number of participants: min 2/ max 3 Last date to apply: 2 days before the beginning of the course Languages: Spanish, English
