Revalue your waste
At TransfoLAB BCN, we are launching a series of repair-focused activities as part of the third edition of the project “Revalue Your Waste – Right to Repair.” The project will run from mid-September to November, concluding with the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR). Over these three months, citizens will be able to take part free of charge in a range of repair sessions. The activities will close on November 27 with the sixth edition of our TrashTalks, an event featuring talks and presentations on projects related to repair.
With the support of
Repair Sessions
Sessions are open to anyone interested in repair methods. A total of 10 sessions are planned, each with a maximum duration of 3 hours and up to 10 participants per session. Throughout the project, we will continue to publish new dates until reaching 10 sessions in total. During these sessions, registered participants will have access to the resources of TransfoLAB BCN (workshop area and shared tools), as well as technical and creative support from our instructors or collaborators.
We plan to hold:
-
4 sessions dedicated to the repair of furniture and other objects (led by our own technical team)
-
2 sessions on clothing repair (tutor to be announced)
-
2 sessions on appliance and electronic repair (tutor to be announced)
-
2 sessions on bicycle repair (tutor to be announced).
-
Participation is free with registration. Each person may register for up to 3 sessions.

Education Sessions
The first edition of the Revalue Your Waste campaign took place between September and November 2022. On that occasion, we offered manufacturing and educational sessions, concluding with the very first edition of TrashTalks.
In 2023, we ran the campaign again, this time adding repair sessions to the program. In both years, the project was supported by the Barcelona City Council.
